Who we cover
We help California livery and chauffeured operators get coverage for these operations, subject to carrier eligibility:
Black car / executive sedan & SUV services
Limousines and stretch SUVs
Airport and hotel shuttles
Party buses and mini-coaches
Wedding, event and corporate chauffeur services
Owner-operators with 1 vehicle up to small fleets
What's covered
Coverage we arrange for livery and chauffeured vehicles, depending on your operation and carrier eligibility:
Auto liability at the limit your TCP permit requires
Physical damage (comp & collision) on sedans, SUVs, stretches and buses
Hired & non-owned auto
Uninsured / underinsured motorist
Medical payments
General liability & workers' comp if youu require it
Your TCP permit depends on your insurance
The CPUC won't issue or renew a charter-party (TCP) permit until liability coverage is on file, and the minimum limit is set by seating capacity. We write the policy at the right limit and e-file the proof of insurance with the CPUC. Airports like SAN and LAX have their own permit requirements on top of this - tell us where you operate and we'll match the certificate to it.
7 passengers or fewer: $750,000
8 to 15 passengers: $1,500,000
16 passengers or more: $5,000,000
Why livery operators call Allstar
Hard-to-place commercial auto is all we do, so a chauffeured risk is a normal Tuesday for us, not a referral out.
We know the markets that actually write chauffeured risks
Phone-first: quotes in a call, not a week of emails
New ventures and drivers with points still get quoted
CPUC e-filing handled when we bind
Certificates matched to airport and venue requirements
